This is a style of wine we really enjoy so we source fruit from suitable higher altitude vineyards in the local area.
The wine is cool fermented and bottled relatively early to keep all its aromatics. It’s an off-dry style with around 9 grams per litre of residual sugar so not as sweet as one might expect from this varietal.
Perfumed with lychee, citrus and a touch of musk on the nose. Fairly crisp for Gewurztraminer on the palate, tangy with honeyed lychee and citrus. Finishes with clean acidity. Really appealing style and great with a variety of Asian dishes.
